The Finest in Martial Arts, Self Defence, Savate & Kickboxing
Join us at St Bede’s on Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd September for an International Celebration of Savate. With great pleasure, we welcome Annukka Volotinen from Finland, current World Vice-Champion in Savate Combat and Florence Quist, top competitor and trainer, currently living in Belgium who will teach both Savate Assaut and Savate Combat skills.
Whether you train for fun, fitness or competition, this event will help you raise your game!
This was an opportunity too good to miss! On 16th December, Ollie Batts taught a masterclass in stick, knife and empty-hand techniques from a range of arts including Eskrima, JKD-Kali-Silat, Panantukan, Combat Sambo, Hapkido, Savate Defence and more.
Cambridge Academy Instructor, Morgan Alexander, represented Great Britain in the World Savate Assaut Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, from Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September. 200 fighters from more than 30 countries took part in the Championships.
Ollie Batts has been nominated for the Martial Arts Illustrated Hall of Fame!
The honour list will be published in Martial Arts Illustrated magazine later this year, after a presentation evening due to take place in November.
